Book Cover Redesigns - Blindness

Redesign project of the last book purchased before the project start date.

The book “Blindness” by José Saramago follows a group struck ill in the beginning days of a worldwide pandemic that renders the afflicted inexplicably blind. The story follows the group of strangers through all the steps the governments try to stop the spread of the pandemic and the injustices they have to endure.

For the printed version, I decided to use braille in the interior while closely following the original paragraph and chapter layouts of the original text. The interior adds depth and texture to the viewer in relation to the covers.
